杭州吉祥提花布廠、無紡布廠前身杭州東升絲廠創建于1927年，手工土法種桑養蠶、繅絲、織布。解放后改為國營。到1997年正式徹底轉制。解放后，同時創建了蕭山坎山供銷社土特產收購站，為計劃經濟初創時期作出了不可磨滅的貢獻，到1997年徹底轉制。
轉制后，建立了杭州吉祥提花布廠、無紡布廠，企業順應時代潮流，賦予新的技術革命和現代經營理念，不斷創新、實踐、煥發青春，取得了巨大成功。
